  • Clipper was started in 1984 in a Dorset kitchen by a tea-obsessed husband and wife. They wanted to share their love of great tea with a promise of ethical sourcing and natural production. The story began with just two chests of finest-quality Assam tea, sold to local health food shops and cafes. Today there are over 150 different Clipper products sold in over 50 countries.

  • Clipper is fiercely committed to being organic and anything new will be organic certified. Guided by there organic principles, Clipper is committed to being GM-free and will only use ingredients from non-GM sources. They actively discourage the use of chemicals such as pesticides amongst our growers, which we believe gives us better tea that’s better for the environment.

  • In 1994, Clipper became the UK’s first Fairtrade tea company. 25 years later, Clipper is the world’s largest Fairtrade tea brand. By buying Clipper Fairtrade tea, you have helped us deliver over £4m in Fairtrade premiums in the last 25 years.
